Our Source
Harvested from the edge
of the earth.
Sourced exclusively from Comvita™, the global leader in Mānuka honey and a certified B-Corp with over 50 years of expertise, our honey is harvested from hives that stretch across more than 30,000 colonies—from New Zealand’s rugged volcanic plateau to the bush-clad hills of Northland—tended by generations of beekeepers dedicated to purity, preservation, and performance.
Going beyond food-grade or cosmetic grade standards, we leverage Comvita™ Medihoney®—the same anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-oxidant-rich medical-grade Mānuka honey used in an FDA-cleared wound care device. Naturally active and incredibly rare, it’s also safe for all skin types and life stages undergoing over 34 tests to ensure quality, purity, and potency.
SELECTIVE ANTIMICROBIAL DEFENSE
Mānuka has a naturally low pH, which means its slight acidity actively suppresses bacterial growth. It also contains Methylglyoxal (MGO), a self-selecting antimicrobial found in Mānuka honey, which inhibits the growth and proliferation of pathogens that can cause breakouts as well as skin conditions like eczema, rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis, while supporting the beneficial bacteria needed for healthy skin.
Bioavailable Nutrients for Skin Barrier Health
Mānuka contains over twenty-six amino acids plus essential vitamins and mineral— including B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9), Potassium, Calcium, Phosphorous, Zinc, Iron, and Vitamin C—to help support hydration, barrier strength, and overall skin resilience.

An Ancient Maori Species
Native only to the shores of New Zealand, the leaves, bark, and honey from the Mānuka tree have been used medicinally for centuries by the region's indigenous healers, who have long recognized its unique, healing powers.

A Rare Monoflower Honey
Mānuka trees flower for only 4-6 weeks each year, producing a monofloral honey gathered by individual bees who harvest only 1/12th of a teaspoon in their lifetime.

A Fleeting Bloom, Defined by Precision
When the Mānuka bloom occurs—within a small window, across some of New Zealand’s most remote terrain—timing is everything. We harvest with care, honoring the moment and protecting the exceptional potency of our proprietary ingredient.
